Owl-O-Ween at Oak Mountain State Park
Come and meet Alabama’s resident owls at the annual Owl-O-Ween festival. Alabama Wildlife Center will have a variety of native owl species that you can meet in person. In addition to the owls, there will be games, food, and crafts for all to enjoy. You can even participate in the release of a rehabilitated owl back into the wild!

Haunted Cave Tour at Cathedral Caverns State Park
If you’re in for a real scare, come and visit the Haunted Caverns at Cathedral Caverns. Beware though, this is an extremely scary attraction and is not intended for children! If these caves weren’t spooky enough on their own, adding monsters, ghouls, and other terrifying elements have made them truly horrifying.
