New Thermador dishwasher set for warp speed
I'm not sure if the American public will feel as strong of a need for a quick dishwasher as they do for quick meal preparation, but you never know. With a dishwasher that cleans this fast, you could have the dishes washed after dinner and loaded back on the shelves in a really short time.

Appliance Parts in Alabama (and beyond)
Now our customers in Alabama, and those across the nation, can order appliance parts by calling 1-800-256-7594.
With a huge inventory, and 16+ locations throughout the U.S., most parts can be delivered by the next day for $9.95 standard shipping.
(Exclusions apply, guaranteed next-day shipping is extra, but it's been our experience that most of these parts will get there pretty fast. The parts also need to be in stock, of course.)
Just call 1-800-256-7594 for appliance parts, and the details will be explained by customer service.
(In the unlikely event that you need to return a part or cancel one on order, just call the same number. Again, details available when you call).
Thanks!

DIY Dishwasher Maintenance
Four times a year, Service Care TV & Appliance Repair in Birmingham, Alabama publishes a reminder to do maintenance on your appliances and electronics items. Right now, the only people receiving these maintenance reminders are people who have "Liked" us on Facebook (see lower right). I thought it would be a good idea to post them here as well (in case you just stumble on in).
Please consult the user manuals for your products, and follow the directions for care & maintenance of your products. There is always a risk of electrical shock when operating or maintaining electronics and appliances, and you should contact a qualified service provider (like Service Care!) if you feel uncomfortable doing this work yourself.
Dishwasher
- Lift out the strainer/filter in bottom of tub (consult owner's manual if needed), and scrub with warm, soapy water and a scrubber pad (the soft, plastic kind). Check for drain blocking objects before putting back.
- Clean the spray arm:
- Remove spray arm (normally by turning clockwise, being careful not to drop the nut or washer into the motor below).
- Clean out the holes with a stiff wire (a paperclip, pulled straight, will do) to clear any blockages or deposits.
- Shake out any particulate (seeds, etc) stuck in spray arm.
- Put on rubber gloves and scrub the spray arm with hot distilled white vinegar to remove mineral deposits.
- Reinstall spray arm.
- Fill two dishwasher safe cups with a cup of white vinegar and place one each in both top and bottom racks, then run a regular wash cycle. Vinegar will be dispersed and will dissolve soap residue and mineral deposits that can reduce the water flow and washing action of the dishwasher.
If you feel you do need television or appliance service in the Birmingham Metro Area please do not hesitate to contact Service Care by phone at 205-956-3777 or by email at service@servicecare.net. You can also send us messages via our website at www.servicecare.net
