I've been wandering around the web, looking for interesting Alabama-related facts that might be of interest to customers and friends. Frankly, my goal is to keep it related to products we service, appliance repairs and electronics repairs, etc.

But I had to shamelessly plug Savage's Bakery in Homewood. Savage's is owned by members of my extended family, and as a kid it was a (sadly) rare treat to go to downtown Homewood and stop off at Savage's for a cookie. Mmmmm.

To be fair, it's not that shameless. Savage's has been around for umpteen years, and the only way you stay open as a bakery is to make delicious, mouth-watering goodies. They do.
