This program educates willing citizens about disaster preparedness for hazards that could affect our area and trains volunteers in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. Participants must be at least 18. The next training class in Vestavia Hills starts March 3. Space is limited. Information: 978-0225.
